How can I take mascara from one tube and get it into another tube?
Question by SA5M: How can I take mascara from one tube and get it into another tube?
I have an old mascara, and I bought a new mascara. I want to combine my mascara into one mascara tube, so that I dont have two mascaras to keep track of. I tried a couple ways to get them into the same tube and they just dont work. Can you please give me some thing that works?

i think you should keep the new one closed until you use the old one up. you never know what types of bacteria you would be transferring to your brand new bottle of mascara. mascara tubes are the perfect breeding ground for germs. you wouldn’t want to get them into your new one – especially for things applying so close to your eyes.
er… just use both? coat with one and then use the other on topp.. or something like that/..
maybe heating your mascara for a few seconds and pouring it?
You can’t.
And you shouldn’t. The old tube will have more bacterial growth, and the consistency will not be identical to that of your new tube, meaning you may ruin the consistency of the new tube.
It’s not that hard to keep track of two mascaras. If you mean you won’t remember which is old and which is new, just take some tape and write “OLD” on it and stick it on your old tube.
you should throw out the old one, mixing an old one with a new one could goive you an eye infection
Don’t ever even try this. Mascara breeds bacteria very quickly. You should throw it away every 3-5 months and buy a new one. You could easily get a stye if you combine an old mascara with a new mascara and then continue to use it for a long time. A new mascara is much cheaper than a trip to the eye doctor, so just replace it.
