Q&A: Blush/contouring makeup help?
Question by StayBeautiful7: Blush/contouring makeup help?
I LOVE her countoring/blush and how the blush color is perfect for her skin, not to dramatic, but then again, not to subtle. I really want my make up to turn out like this! How can i get this affect and what blush color would you recommend me? I have a olive/light tan skin tone. Perferably a blush from MAC
not just blush either. can anyone explain how to get this whole makeup look

you can use whichever blush brand you want but it looks like she’s wearing a peachy toned color which can look very complimenting on a light tan skin tone too. i have that same skin tone and i use a shimmering peach blush and it looks great. as for the contouring, if you want this look, brush the blush along your cheek bones. not too high on the apples of your cheeks, and not too low below your cheek bones. and use a light amount, you don’t want to pound it on to make it look unnatural. and her look is very natural and soft, so just line your eyes with a black liquid or pencil eyeliner on your top lid. and finish it off with mascara. and for her lips, it might just be her natural lip color. but if you want to match it, use a soft peach or nude lipstick or lipgloss, whichever you prefer. just remember to never load on your makeup. if you over-cover up your flaws and power on color, it can look really unnatural and weird. good luck!
