I LOVE her countoring/blush and how the blush color is perfect for her skin, not to dramatic, but then again, not to subtle. I really want my make up to turn out like this! How can i get this affect and what blush color would you recommend me? I have a olive/light tan skin tone. Perferably a blush from MAC :)
not just blush either. can anyone explain how to get this whole makeup look

you can use whichever blush brand you want but it looks like she’s wearing a peachy toned color which can look very complimenting on a light tan skin tone too. i have that same skin tone and i use a shimmering peach blush and it looks great. as for the contouring, if you want this look, brush the blush along your cheek bones. not too high on the apples of your cheeks, and not too low below your cheek bones. and use a light amount, you don’t want to pound it on to make it look unnatural. and her look is very natural and soft, so just line your eyes with a black liquid or pencil eyeliner on your top lid. and finish it off with mascara. and for her lips, it might just be her natural lip color. but if you want to match it, use a soft peach or nude lipstick or lipgloss, whichever you prefer. just remember to never load on your makeup. if you over-cover up your flaws and power on color, it can look really unnatural and weird. good luck!

  • Hm… this looks definantly like she’s a model. So it’s probably not 100% natural. I’d recommend a blush with some peachy, maybe even slightly brown undertones. For bronzer, just get something that’s a little darker than your skin color. To apply it, just put some blush on the apples of your cheeks (smile, and then you’ll see them). Then, apply the bronzer in like, half of an oval shape. Start near your hairline a little below your eyebrows, and then just sweep the bronzer under your apples.

For the rest of the whole look, I’d put on a matte neude/brown lipstick with a little bit of a lipglaze on top, a neutral smokey eye, foundation, mascara, and a tad bit of eyeliner on the upper lashline.

Here are some MAC products that I recommend for this look. They’re all MAC. I didn’t want to go through like, 10 products, but these are just the most important ones in the look I think.

  • I would recommend using this free online virtual makeover. It’s very advanced and really gives you a good idea of how different products will look on you. You can upload your picture or make a model that looks like you. There are specific looks you can try on or you can create your own. It keeps track of what you try on and if you find a look you like you can create a shopping list and buy them right from the site! Also everything has a 180 money back guarantee. So if you don’t love something you can get your money back even if you use up the entire product! I would try the suggestions that Tokio made. You can try them out on here first though so you can see if you like it before you even buy anything. Hope this helps. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me!
