Vogue UK Gives Tips on How to ‘Buzzfeed’ Your Look
The Guardian picked up on a particularly strange cover line on this month’s Vogue UK. In between stories on shopping calendars and making your wardrobe go the distance, there’s a teaser for a story on how to “Buzzfeed your look.” Inside, the magazine delves into the website’s trademark listicles as a form of explainer for how to buy certain things, like “Five dresses that will change your life,” and “Eight things you must ask yourself before you buy latex.”
The Guardian then takes it one step further by listing other internet-savvy ways you can describe your look. Try spelling it out in all capitals, perhaps, or add the “-core” ending to whatever descriptor for your look you’re currently using, because that makes about the same amount of sense as “Buzzfeed”-ing your look.
